So, another week has passed which is not ideal in trying to reach the end of the 0-5k programme and the start of being a 'real runner' but I got on the treadmill and off I went. After the obligatory 5 minutes walk I set off at 7k but felt my legs tiring after 5,minutes so dropped down to 6.8. The head gremlins appeared so the nutjob that I am decided to alphabetise my exercise! So, all positive words starting with a-amazing, b-beautiful, c-courageous etc til I got to z. Next round two words, still positive, so a, amazing achievement, beautiful body, etc. Worked for me. I suppose it doesn't matter what we do to keep our minds focused and it's much easier to do that when outdoors but on a treadmill 25 minutes non stop feels like an hour. Not today though. I finished with a 7.4 sprint for the last minute as Laura told me to and when she said I was a runner I could have kissed her! I'm back in the game! Bosh!!! πΊπππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ

Well done ! Like the A-Z of running with a big "R" for runner. It was a case of singing in the rain for me today. But whatever it's the great feeling of achievement of overcoming obstacles whatever they may be !!
