Week 6 R3

Feeling very proud of myself having just completed this run in the rain. It's not been easy getting to this point having never run before and nearly vomiting in W1. But what a successful plan, I actually think I might now make it to W9R3

Well done Nicki😊

Thats Week 6 done and dusted.

Of course you will make it to graduation. Nice and slowly at the start of your runs while you are taking on oxygen. Good luck with Week 7...

It sneaks up on you like that. Week 9 will roll along before you know it and you will get there.

Great job of running in the rain too.

Of course you'll reach graduation, you're 2/3s of the way through and doing brilliantly. Another runner in the making! Now you've only got the non-stop longer runs to build up a bit of stamina.

Well done ! The fact that you ran in the rain says it all. I got soaking this morning. Rain came down straight after my 5 minute warm up walk. Had a wobbly gremlin for a minute saying "why and should I do this?" Luckily said to myself "I'm here now so get on with it".

Have run in odd light shower from time to time but this was first full on in your face continuous rain.

Managed 30 minutes and despite soggy feet and bedraggled at end, a few minutes later felt great that I had overcome obstacle of rain and did it ! In fact felt better than on a normal run.

So well done again bet you have like me feel a great sense of achievement and you shouldn't have any problems getting to week 9 and beyond.

Thanks, the rain had a nice cooling effect on my very red face! I also found it easier than the first run of the week ☺
