I am so happy ran for 25 minutes today I am really proud of myself. 6 weeks ago I could barely run for 1 minute! I am getting such a buzz when I complete these runs! I am so surprised I can do this, I am 57 and overweight. I hope I can carry on and maintain my progress!
Week 6 r3: I am so happy ran for 25 minutes... - Couch to 5K
Week 6 r3
Ah that's great ! Well done to you . It is mind blowing really when we think back as to how far we have come isn't it ?

That's great! I'm on wk 6 run 2 later today and I'm actually feeling confident about it!!! How can that be?! 😀 You're well on the way to graduation now and many more long runs, keep going 😝
Fantastic achievement - and I know just how you feel. I am 61, never run before, generally pretty lazy but now, on Week 7 and really getting a buzz out of my runs - it's a great programme isn't it? Have also found the weight is gradually going down with the exercise so good news all round. 👍
Well done on your progress, sounds like you are doing brilliantly!☺ Good luck!
It's great isn't it? Who knew running would be so enjoyable? Not me that's for sure but I absolutely love it x
Fabulous! Trust me, if you have got to the end of week 6 you can definitely do this - the hardest runs are done! You will have that graduation badge in no time - very well done!
isn't it super? I did the same run yesterday too so I'm with you - how fabulous are we? I'm quite sure you'll keep going now you've got this far 😃
Well done, it's great isn't it - the buzz and the feeling of achievement. You've got this far so you can get as far as you want!
You must be so proud of yourself, I'm 54 and have just completed W6R2, just behind you... It's such a great feeling when you complete a run....I'm getting hooked!!!
That's brilliant well done 😀👍 you can do it 😀👍
Well done! And never let your weight or age define you. You are a runner!
That's really encouraging to hear, I'm on w2, I thought I was past it at 58, but apart from a few aches and pains it feels great to be moving
Can only echo what everyone has said. Keep up the good work!
Well done, and easy does it.
I'm sure you will carry on.
I'm 55 myself and just discovered C25K in May this year, since December I've lost 3 stone and with the C25K it helps me keep fit. I've also encouraged my 18-year-old daughter to join in as well
Congratulations, you have done amazing, I am sure you will keep up the effort and graduate soon! It's such an inspiration hearing all these posts as I am on w3 r3 on Thursday and these posts make me think that even I might be able to run for 25 minutes in the not too distant future!
Well done, you're doing great xx
Well done. I am just ahead of you and did W7 R1. It is not a one off you can do it again! I've never run before and I'm 66.
thank you very much for all the encouragement! I really think that logging in on here really helps to motivate me, and I feel that I can now go on to complete the next three weeks.
