I am so happy ran for 25 minutes today I am really proud of myself. 6 weeks ago I could barely run for 1 minute! I am getting such a buzz when I complete these runs! I am so surprised I can do this, I am 57 and overweight. I hope I can carry on and maintain my progress!

That's great! I'm on wk 6 run 2 later today and I'm actually feeling confident about it!!! How can that be?! 😀 You're well on the way to graduation now and many more long runs, keep going 😝

Fantastic achievement - and I know just how you feel. I am 61, never run before, generally pretty lazy but now, on Week 7 and really getting a buzz out of my runs - it's a great programme isn't it? Have also found the weight is gradually going down with the exercise so good news all round. 👍

Fabulous! Trust me, if you have got to the end of week 6 you can definitely do this - the hardest runs are done! You will have that graduation badge in no time - very well done! :)

That's really encouraging to hear, I'm on w2, I thought I was past it at 58, but apart from a few aches and pains it feels great to be moving

I'm sure you will carry on.

I'm 55 myself and just discovered C25K in May this year, since December I've lost 3 stone and with the C25K it helps me keep fit. I've also encouraged my 18-year-old daughter to join in as well

Congratulations, you have done amazing, I am sure you will keep up the effort and graduate soon! It's such an inspiration hearing all these posts as I am on w3 r3 on Thursday and these posts make me think that even I might be able to run for 25 minutes in the not too distant future!

Well done. I am just ahead of you and did W7 R1. It is not a one off you can do it again! I've never run before and I'm 66.
