I am new to this, very unfit and I'm anxious about running but after downloading the App on android a while ago, I have finally got my finger out and completed my first week......or so I thought. Yesterday was my third day of running but my app has now deleted my first day and so now only showing I have completed two days :( Has anyone else had this issue?

A few times on my version over here in the USA. Don't worry about it - just keep on running, you know yourself what you have done :)

Congratulations on getting through the first week! So many never do :)

Glad it's not just mine then, hopefully it will be ok for the remaining weeks.

Thanks, I need all the encouragement I can get!! :)

Also - keep firmly in mind the VAST majority do not graduate in nine weeks and running five K :) most of us graduate with the three consecutive thirty minute runs and hit the 5k mark later on :)

That first week is the hardest one, because you're on totally unknown territory. Now you know what it's about and you have proven you can. So well done you, and welcome to "the club".

And as John says, never mind what the app thinks you've done. You know the score, and that's what matters!

Thanks guys, really appreciate the encouragement. It was hard to get started and hope I can keep it up! Never thought I'd ever be able to be a 'runner' but here's hoping I'll get to that 5k eventually :)

You will, just stick to the programme and take it slow and steady. Then see when you get bitten by the running bug!

Yippee :D !!!! Welcome! Never mind what the app says - you've just checked out of W1 and are now moving on to W2! Pretty cool eh! Look forward to hear how you're getting on...xx

Cramps! Stretch before you set off, or walk further before you start running. You'll do it if you're determined. I was very determined! I was over 6 stone overweight when I started beginning of Jan, have shed 17 lbs so far and I ran for 55 mins today before the old legs said 'no more pleeeeeeease'!!! Keep it up, you'll do yourself proud...xx
