That's it I have finally started thank god for the new sports bra at Xmas didn't feel to bad but have had nice long soak in bath tonight to help those poor abused muscles as I haven't run in 20 years will wait to see if I can walk in morning.

They probably will ache but never mind, it goes with the territory. A hot bath is bliss at such times. Epsom salts, bought in tubs or bulk bags, is a bath time boon For us achey-limbed runners 🏃‍♀️

That's the hardest part done. Those muscles are going to complain loud and often but you're always getting stronger. Always look back and remember how impossible the things you are doing now would have seemed back then.

Welcome into the world of running!

There is no going back. We complain. We swear. We will be angry. We will scared. We will be embarrassed. We will take everything again up one notch.

But we won't give up.

:D

Onwards and forwards from here!

.

Please do post after every run.

Well done for starting!! Slow, slow, slow is the mantra here. That first run really is the hardest and will be the one that you can look back on and compare the others too once you're running for 30 minutes. :)
