As you approach graduation what app do you use if you keep running? I'd prefer free.

Hi there

Loads to choose from out there, depending where you decide your running path should take you. Many are free.

Lots of us did out own runs after Graduation..just for the sheer joy of running, and then again, many of us used and still use the C25K+ podcasts.. again free..:)

You can use them however and whenever you feel like it..on their own or mix and match or in with another run as you build up your stamina and distance levels.

E.g. today.. I did a mix and match long run... 2K without any music or podcast, then used Stamina for 35 minutes 5 and then finished with another naked 1K!! It is all waiting for you ! :)

Ooo er, a naked 1k?! I know you're referring to music free but after your skinny dipping stories it wouldn't surprise me, Oldfloss! ;)

I just run! Listen to my own music, set my own distance. I guess it depends if you need a focus or a goal to continue the motivation. I haven't tried the beyond 5k podcast yet

I do a bit of all sorts........the 5k+ podcasts are good and quite challenging. Mix and match as you please. The Speed one is around 27mins so a good go to when you want a quick run.

I also use week one or three of Laura C25k for interval training, running fast when Julie says run then gentle jog for the walk sessions.......sometimes even power walking in these bits.

Then there are those hills to conquer so a bit of hill training, you don't need a podcast for this, just find a hilly loop and you can practice both the uphill and downhill running. Or hill intervals, Kenyan hill training.

Long slow runs for building stamina , running legs and distance, add your own music or not.....whatever you feel.

I find I prefer each run to have a purpose whether I'm aiming to build speed, train hills, add distance. It gives me focus and satisfies my need to have a plan when I go out for each run. I can then follow the plan and enjoy😃🏃🏼‍♀️

If you'd rather just listen to music you can download spotify (free) and create your own running playlist.

Not what you're looking for?
