I've just ran my very 1st 5k non stop.
It was tough at times, but I feel over the moon for completing it.
Thanks to all who gave me good advice on getting myself motivated to get out of the front door.

5 kilometres? What an achievement! Still love running the distance a year on from graduation, it is the building block for your running
Thanks JoolieB1. It's a strange feeling of achievement. Before this couch to 5 k, I hadn't run since I was a kid, many moons ago. But completing that first one made me think I was actually younger than I am lol.
Brilliant...Thats 12 and a half times round a running track😊...those long races you see that go on for ever... and you can do it!!
Happy running.
Well done you! Make sure you're building up slowly though as you don't want to get an injury. The C25k programme is gradual but helps you stay injury free if you're a new runner. Now you know you can do it then you'll be fine from here!
Congratulations! That's great. I remember when I did this (about a year and a half ago now - I had finished C25K but not actually run 5K!) and I just wanted to prove to myself I could, no matter how long it took. Well done!
