Well done wizzbang ..as far as the pace on the treadmill goes your walk should be brisk but still a walk, and the run should be just fast enough to get you doing the running action..a slow jog.

If you find both feet off the ground happens at 4mph or lower, then that pace is all that is required.

You did W2R1 at 5mph, well done. If you found yourself too puffed then take it down a notch..still hard but doable.😊

Keep going...

Slow down a tad maybe?.. If you are puffing 'very hard', maybe just take it steadier at this stage.

If you were outside, at this pint, the run would be so gentle, as Bluebirdrunner , says.. a slow gentle jog. No one, as the podcast says, if they were looking at you over a hedge should know you are running.. i.e. no bobbing up and down :)

You are doing well, so, enjoy the journey and keep it steady and fun :)

The programme aims to get you runnng for a particular length of time. Speed and distance is something to think about post graduation. Enjoy the journey and forget the stats at this point 🏃🏻‍♀️

Well done! Remember, it's ok to slow down if you need to! When the running intervals get longer it will probably be that you'll be running a lot slower than the short intervals in the early weeks. Keep at it though, I'm sure you'll work out your comfortable pace as the weeks go on. :)
