Complete my 1st run on week 4 very pleased with myself my brain was telling me to stop on the 2nd 5 minutes but I didn't listen I did it on a running machine can I ask how fast is a good speed to run I'm going about 5mph and walking at 3mph

The right speed to run at is one where you can still breathe enough to hold down a conversation. This varies a lot between individuals, so don’t worry about the stats - just enjoy the journey x

You should be able speak clear ungasping sentences both as you brisk walk and as you run.

Asking what others do is pretty futile we have teenagers and octagenarians on this forum.
