Or so says Laura after finishing W6R3 this afternoon.I've got to say that running for 25 minutes was hard, but not as hard as I imagined it would be. Six weeks ago this would have been an impossibility so very pleased with the progress. It seems that next week I have 3 of these runs to look forward to - hoping the legs will be stronger and less tired after each, or am I hoping too much ?
Officially a Runner now !: Or so says Laura... - Couch to 5K
Officially a Runner now !
Carry on..slow and steady...your legs will strengthen..don't push too hard. 🙂
Did you do a whoop,or an air punch or a little dance..many of us have got very excited when Laura pronounced us runners ! 🙂
Very well done 🙂
I have to admit there was a very discreet little whoop and air-punch...
Thought I'd save the dance till I got home - very, very pleased !
Well done , sounds like you are doing so well
Great stuff, Well done !
All straight runs now to Graduation. Keep going, youre doing great ! xxx
Well done! The next 3 runs feel about the same but can be more or less difficult depending on how you treat you body during the recovery periods, make sure you rest (you can still crosstrain) as that's really important, keep hydrated and eat sensibly and you'll smash 'em!
Congrats! If Laura says it, it must be true! Well on your way to that graduation badge now!
Hi, I've just completed W7R1, felt a bit daunted at doing 25 mins again but it was ok. If someone said to me last year I'd be running for this long I'd have laughed in their face. Amazing what you can do if you push yourself. Good luck with your next run 😀
Well then, I'll be doing W7R1 tomorrow evening and thanks to all the wonderful feedback and encouragement I've received I'm almost looking forward to it. Onwards and upwards indeed !
