Officially a runner!!

Finally got round to completing W6 R3 after my lad's illness forced us to pause proceeding for a few days. Should technically be on W7 R2 but following previous advice (and finding tonight tougher than expected), I think it's safe to say it's definitely better for us to pick up where we left off than try to skip ahead.

Obviously, it means we'll finish the program later than we would have which is disappointing slightly but ultimately we haven't got to finish by any particular date so it's not the end of the world and better to do it right, I guess!!

25 minutes done and dusted πŸ€—... one or two jogging on the spot moments as we both had a bout of stitch but figured that was better than stopping altogether. Hopefully Friday's run will be a bit smoother. For now, we're celebrating the fact that I, personally, have officially gone from someone who HATED running to being a fully fledged (slow) runner πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Whoop whoop to me and my boy, and everyone else out there who is doing this amazing program!

Aww sorry to hear your lads been unwell, hope the cold was just brief. I did wonder where you'd gone. Keep going its just 25 mins runs for week 7. So far they've been doable lol. X

Thank you. He's feeling better, although still has a bit of a cough so I was dubious about going out tonight, however he felt well enough so we thought we'd give it go... did ok, considering! Thanks for the eencouragement 're week 7 x

Amazing! Good for you - well done! Ou are a runner!

Don't worry about finishing later than before. I had to miss a few run days too due to illness and a strain. So I did W7R1 tonight, and feel back on track even though I'm a week 'behind' where I thought I'd be.
