I really didn't want to go out after a frustrating day driving around the city - I kept pretending to myself I'd leave the house after listening to The Archers but when it had come and gone and I'd started playing Solitaire on the tablet I finally cajoled myself into going out to the gym at 9 pm. Of course it was great - I've read everyone's posts and how people overcome their inner procrastinator. That made me determined not to let it get the better of me. You've all been great role models - failure is not an option even if it takes months to get to week 9 ( taken 5 weeks to reach week 3). I loved running for 3 minutes for 1st time tonight. Onwards and forwards!
Weak 3!: I really didn't want to go out after a... - Couch to 5K
Weak 3!
The gym sounds nice and dry...
You could have taken The Archers out with you. I'm a big fan of taking R4 or R4Extra out on a run
Go you... we are very good at 'reasons not to'.... This was just a blip.. ( we don't use the 'f' word on here... )
Slow and steady!
I was due to start week 3 tomorrow but will have to redo week 2 thanks to being struck down by a nasty lurgy. Feeling really weak and feeble but posts like yours inspire me to keep on even if I too take five weeks to do three weeks!!!
Well done.😊 Mc_guff .
You are right, your journey, your timescale.. no hurry.
Managing a successful run is worth waiting for...keep going.. we are rooting for you. 😊
I like that - my journey my timescale - thank you - no judgement- it is what it is. Think we're in the right place allegrachick
