...it's just that kind of morning.
I have the eldest grandsprocket, so I can't go out before I take him home at 7 o'clock tonight.
I need to go out.
It's only 20 minutes!
I just need to put my running gear on before I leave to drive him home.
I can do that, right?
Do it. Don't even question it, don't open yourself up to those doubts. Do exactly as you said. Running clothes on, taken him home, then you run. Done. Then a nice warm shower as it will still probably be raining. Have a lovely day with your grandson.

You can do it. And so will I! No run til I get in from work at 6.30pm. Not sure I'll be in the mood then, but we'll both get kitted up and go out, and report back here afterwards, ok? 
Awesome idea! It'll be nearer 8 o'clock before I get to leave son's house, so I'll plan to run beside the river if it isn't too rainy.

It's nice to get warm and dry after getting wet - something to look forward to.
Lucky me got a new rainproof jacket for Christmas so stayed mostly dry on my walk to the shops pushing grandsprocket in his buggy.
Wonderful... aren't these small ones great for improving our core strength...?
I have been averaging 4 and a half miles each morning, and the same each afternoon.. pushing the pram up hills...it has improved my leg strength too... and I have been doing that whilst supposedly on the IC with the lurgy !!
I love that feeling when we do get in from a wet run and the afterglow.of warmth and self satisfaction x

I did nearly 5 miles, round trip this morning, and going up hill is unavoidae for me as I live near the top of one.
I generally only have him once or twice a week, but when I do it's a full 24 hour stint.
Well.. that will be my brief when little mum goes back to work in October.. You can give me tips!!! x
