Well well well...W3R1

I trotted out to have a go last night ..my week 2 was split due to illness and a pulled back... 13 days between run2 and run3. I wasn't sure on Tuesday if I would manage W2R2 but despite still coughing a lot I managed ok. Last night tho the Gremlin Stan was trying to convince me that I need to redo week 2. But fellow C25Kers encouraged me to give week 3 a go, and I did...And although tough I did it...Managed R1 so looking forward to 2 and 3...And Stan is so annoying me now by looking ahead to week 4 and trying to say I won't be able to step up... I believe him at the moment but maybe I'll feel better once 2 and 3 achieved. We shall see.๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

Well done for getting out there๐Ÿ‘ That really is the hardest bit I've found. I'm behind the programm too and been tempted to repeat runs. Although I haven't had a gap of 13 days my mindset has been if I did wx r3 within 3 days I'll give the next week a go. It's worked up until now ๐Ÿ™‚. Good luck with it, trust yourself and the lovely Laura ๐Ÿ‘

Well done :-)

Leave Stan at home!

Absolutely, send Stan off for a nice winter break somewhere that he can't bother you, maybe if you send him skiing he might break a limb and be laid up until you're w9! Stan can come home bandaged up and you'll be running 30 minutes๐Ÿ˜€ If you felt sorry for him you could always make him a cuppa when you get home as a graduate๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜€

You are doing brilliantly. Keep going...

What I like is that if you succeed with Run 1 in a week , the knowledge that you CAN means you KNOW you can manage run 2 and 3... At least. In the early weeks when all runs are the same.

That's brilliant well done. I am also on week 3 and was due to do run 3 yesterday but have been laid up with nasty but of norovirus since Wednesday night. I'm hoping to complete week 3 tonight as really don't want to get behind schedule.

Ignore Stan, what does he know anyway? Can he run for even ten seconds? No? Thought not. You keep going, you are doing well :) :).

Well done! You'll have conquered week 3 before you know it. You can run further than those gremlins ;)

This is really encouraging, I've just done w2r3 and like you, have had a long gap between w2r2 and w2r3 on account of a real humdinger of a cold. I found it hard going and think I'll redo w2r3 before I attempt week 3. it seems like a huge step between week 2 and week 3 :-)

allegrachick I would say have a go at the next run..You might be @surprised... I was and I was seriously doubting and dithering lol... With encouragement I decided just to try, and managed ok. Sadly I'm stuck in week 4 now. Have done run 1, then did a parkrun which was more walking than jogging...Then swam and then pulled my back again putting on my sock haha. Back is much better today so I have been for a swim...So tomorrow maybe W4R2....

Wow, you're doing so much! I can't even visualise a parkrun at this stage although my daughter-in-law is encouraging (nagging) me to join her on one soon. I'll be resuming my what-I-call jogging tomorrow. It's just been too cold the past few days and I am a wuss.
