The day before I was due to restart after injury, I woke up with a seriously bad back for the first time in my life. W1R1 on Saturday anyway - bad idea. The back's getting better with lots of walking and ibuprofen, but no running for me for a couple of weeks. Grump, grump.

Poor You! It's a conspiracy! If you're certain you haven't damaged your back recently, have a look at the NHS Choices website, fitness studio, and Pilates for back pain - works for me...xx

Sad for you but follow oldfloss advice. It will cheer you up.
It must depend on the type of situation, type of pain. I find if my back is slightly sore, running will make it disappear. With me it is a bit of a fixer. Sore back: go for a run. Problem solved. Happy.
It had been getting better, then I fell whilst walking yesterday - just missed my footing and toppled onto the verge - and today it's much worse. I'm off to the physio.
