Regrets, I have a few...!

AKA why on earth didn't I run yesterday??? I had nothing planned all day, but filled it with a long dog-walk (which included scoping out a potential future 5k route once I can face a *massive* hill!) and going shopping. Woke up this morning to the sound of heavy rain, which is apparently expected to continue all day. *sigh*

Ah well, I won't dissolve... but buying a waterproof suddenly looks like a plan to consider!

I normally run on a Sunday, but am very glad I went out yesterday. I chose yesterday due to a combination of not having been able to run Thursday or Friday last week and (due to diary commitments) only being able to run Monday and Wednesday next week (usually I run Tuesday and Thursday), and the weather forecast for today!!!!

It's funny - 'you won't dissolve' is what I say to the boys at school when on playground duty in light rain!! :)

The Germans say "I'm not made of sugar"! Also glad I ran yesterday, not because of the weather but because my alcohol consumption yesterday evening is not conducive to good running today!

Running in the rain is fun - enjoy!

Oh No don't you just hate that. We've all been there and kicked ourselves, the good news the feeling stays with us for a while so next time you'll probably be out for that run, walking is so good for you too, it's not like you didn't do anything!

Ha, ha yes we won't dissolve but it is a bit annoying when you miss a nice weather day. I went out yesterday in glorious sun and crunchy snow underfoot which was delightful and today is very dreich, as they say here in Scotland (low cloud, persistent drizzle) . Not that I am gloating of course! ;) Hope you managed to have a decent run.

You walked the dog, this is a totally valid form of exercise. And you now have a new route to run. Don't beat yourself up about it.
