  • Good for you, Tony.

Nice and slow and it will get easier. Your heart, lung efficiency and leg muscles will improve rapidly if you ask them to.

  • Well done on starting out, glad you enjoyed your run x

  • Well done - and as you progress you will look back on today's run as a marker of how far you have come - honest! Good luck.

  • Good! Take it really slowly and you will be fine 🙂

  • Well done. The first one is the hardest. Just keep on running...

  • Welcome! Well done for taking the first step. C25k is simply brilliant and following the programme is one of the best decisions you'll ever make!

So many of us started out having never exercised before. Go slow, stretch, take your rest days and you'll be a runner before you know it!

  • Welcome aboard Tony. You'll be fitter after every session. You'll look back in the following weeks at that first run and be amazed at how the programme changes you! Take it slow and easy (and post to let us know how you're doing) Good luck with run 2 :)

  • Hi. Well done for competing the first one. Slow and steady and it will get easier.

  • Well done getting started Tony!

  • Congratulations on your first run. Slow and steady. Keep smiling! :)

  • Excellent, getting out for that first run is the most important step. Well done.
