I did it!!

I haven't posted much on the forum, every time I come here for help, I find it in the posts of others ☺and I always find the support here amazing! Anyway, so today was the day that I completed the c25k app!! 5k in 31 minutes!! I hope to get my time down just a smidge before I start working on 10K. Thank you all so much if your help and support over the last few weeks, I couldn't have done it without you all and keep on running!!

  • Thank you! I have found an app that helps with pacing. I might ruin in a week or so and see if I can get my time down a bit πŸƒ . It is amazing what your body can do, when you convince your mind!!

  • Congratulations. Hve you thought about Parkrun?

  • Thank you! I have looked into it and there is one near me. I might do it in the future, right now I am loving the me time that running gives me. Do you do Park Runs?

  • I've only done three Parkrun so far and I find it a little difficult as I'm hearing impaired, so can't hear what's going on at the start. I also enjoy the "me time" of running on my own. It would be good if I was better able to chat to people and make their acquaintance but rather difficult especially as I can't wear my hearing aid on the run in case it falls out and I lose it.

But they are quite fun, and having an official time is quite a motivator for some.

  • Pompoms waving for you here kiddo. That time is awesome! Enjoy your running :)
