20 min ! Whoa! It took me a while to get that in my mind before I set off. I was even a bit scared before the run .
The first 10 min were more tiring and I was trying to get the right pace as I saw the long journey ahead. However after the first 10 I managed to step up the pace as I felt more into it and started breaking a good sweat. The last 5 min were another story altogether and I had to slow it down a bit but glad I made it to the end.
It was in the second half of the run I began to feel the fitness coming and lighter on my feet. Now to enjoy the Christmas break before week 6..
Happy holidays all!

I think the post 20-minute run high was a highlight of 2016 for me. I told everyone who would listen for the whole of the rest of the day, "I ran 20 minutes without stopping! Me!"
Great post! I remember that first 20 minute run fondly. You actually start to believe that you can actually do this and be a runner! It's terrific, isn't it? Well done you! 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻😊😊
