Woohoo! Graduation!

Finished Week 9 Run 3 today. Have been feeling a bit sluggish this week and seem to have slowed a bit but I suppose that'll even itself out. My new goal will be to actually finish the 5k, the most I can manage in 30 minutes is 4.4k. Not sure how to pace that increase but yeah. I should focus on the graduation now. It's so strange to think how impossible I felt this would be in September!

Thanks for all the support everyone!

How do I get my graduation badge again? Wayhay!

  • Great Job, I am a week behind you and I cannot get to 5K in the time. You completed it, stuck to it and smashed it. I am sure the 5K will come.

  • Brilliant! Thats about the distance I made on graduation in the 30 min run. It took me 38 mins I think to run my first actual 5k, I just kept running past when Laura told me to stop to see if I could do it...and it turns out I could. Just shows you never know what you can do until you try :) Happy Christmas, what a great present

Feels great doesn't it. Your goals sound great and you will do it....you're a runner now.

  • Congratulations on finishing the couch to 5K. It's a lovely feeling of satisfaction and you should be proud. As you mentioned, the difference between September and completion.

It's down to a few things.

1, A very well put together training scheme with a friendly website and great people.

2, More importantly, your drive, determination and grit, to see it through.

Wayhay, to you and have a great Christmas.

  • Congratulations, well done and before Christmas too. Enjoy!

  • Fantastic. I hope you are celebrating your graduation style.

  • Thanks so much to everyone! Everyone is so encouraging and warm. Thank you!
