Week 7 behind me....

Still can't believe that I have just completed 3 runs of 25 minutes in one week :) After the excesses of Brussels the previous weekend I was just hoping to complete the first run on Monday evening, but it seemed to go smoothly. The second run on Wednesday however, was different, my legs felt heavy and I also took on Laura's advice and tried a different route, and although I completed the run I just didn't feel great. So fast forward to Saturday afternoon and I set off on my usual route and it was by far the best run I have had so far in this programme, a nice steady rhythm and I completed 4.7km in the 35 minutes, my furthest distance so far. And to make the week even better, when I got back from my run I checked the football results and found my team (Rotherham United) had won for the first time since August!!!!!!

Looking forward to week 8 run 1 this evening, never thought I would have said that when I began all those weeks ago. And to all those people just starting out or having self doubts, don't give up, it does get easier and you will surprise yourself and feel so much better for it.
