I'm trying to put one together, but to be honest with you, I'm really rubbish at picking music.... what kicky music is on your playlist?

Well, what an excellent question! I have been on the IC so have been putting a list together which is supposed to match my pace . . . well, we shall see! The thing is, I have a very strange collection of music in my "running faves folder" - from Dire Straits, The Police, Simon and Garfunkel, John Farnham, Einaudi and Abba, to name but a few! Thought I would put a folder together of classical ones and one of "pop" ones and a third of a mixture, and, depending upon my "mood", just go for it! :)

I listen to audiobooks so im probably not much help. Good incentive if you want to find out what happens next you need to get your running shoes on

I pay for an app called Deezer - a bit of a luxury I admit. It allows you to download ready-made playlists some of which are specifically for running.

Is it a one off payment? or a subscription?

It's a subscription, although there's a free three month trial.

Lots of big, epic orchestral music that makes me feel like I'm starring in my own film! But for a good running beat I love these:

Fire - Barns Courtney

Tie Me Down - Jack Savoretti

Tusk - Fleetwood Mac

You Belong To Me - Bryan Adams

Bad Moon Rising - Credeence Clearwater Revival

Wake Me Up - Avicii

Dance With Dragons - Brunuhvill

Love Runs Out - OneRepublic (courtesy of Misswobble)

A bit of a mix but they make me speed up a tad and put a smile on my face 😊

For me it's a bit of 80's, Ska, reggae and a couple of years ago I found Bounce for running. I realised that going through compilation albums I came back to certain types of songs for my running playlist on closer inspection I found they were from the same genre, Bounce. I then found there was an bounce album of speeded up eighties songs. That was me set. Cheesy fast and fun 😀.

That sounds like my kind of list: Cheesy, fast & fun!

oooh I love ska and reggae! Paul Simon too! Ooh and Art Garf!

Bad Moon Rising! Not got that on my playlist! I should have. Love it! I love a bit of Creedence.

I would recommend this on one's play list:-
