I've only done a couple of short runs since tentatively leaving the injury couch but today I was keen to join my local parkrun. I work most Saturdays so I can only make it along every few weeks. I didn't want to miss an opportunity!
This was only my second parkrun. The first time I wanted to try and finish in 30 minutes or less; today I wanted to see if my ankle would hold up for the full 5k. It held up well, and I finished the run in 28:07, setting a new PB!! Happy me
