First Parkrun issues

34th which was okay,39mins considering the two massive hills I had to walk was okay. The two things that happened were my chest (again) tightening in a massive way so had to back off but had what I think was a mild panic attack at the start - breathing went through the roof. But it was fun with my old primary school teacher cheering me at halfway and over the line :) The chest issue is as regular folks who read know, something I was born with but will try and see my GP about it. 29:46 on Wednesday was 90% entirely on flat ground though in fairness. On to uni campus on Monday and will try to get out for a run to boost my confidence after this morning :)

Nice run Mark.

Most people are slower on hilly terrain. Plus it's an entirely different experience when running with others! It is always more difficult to run your own pace in a crowd, so dont beat yourself up😀

Remember to live in the moment and ENJOY!

Happy running 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻😀

Definitely not beating myself up today - was nice to see some faces from the past, including an ex-work colleague and I happily introduced her to Couch to 5K! :) Our Parkrun is one of the more challenging ones I'm told so no shame at all :) Now to do the impossible on Monday pre meetings on campus and figure out something I've never done in the five years I've been traveling to Milton Keynes. Figure out their ridiculous road system! 😉

Still sounds good - hope you get the chest thing sorted out.

Think I might have posted it before but it's a form of this (had since I was a little one):en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pectu...

Used to get teased a lot about it - less so now but was restricting breathing a bit yesterday and the chest properly tightened up - especially noticed it on the hills.
