Another first for me..

Left my run a bit late today, we were watching Andy Murray, and went out at 4.15. 'SEMI-DARKNESS'..😯

I was only doing my short 30 minute run, but there are not many street lights on my course... However, I found it surprisingly good..you can't see the path too far ahead, and have to concentrate on where your feet are going, which is sort of relaxing.

Got round easily, even sprinted at the end. I did the same run on Wednesday but found it tougher then.

Just wanted to mention then, to those graduates who are worrying about starting the Bridge to 10k plan because of the walk breaks (I worried too..) that you will still be able to run for 30 minutes continously when you want to, the training won't affect that. It will just give you more options for longer routes and hills etc.

I now mix up c25k, c25k + and B210k. I haven't done a parkrun or a race though.😱

Happy running everyone.

P.s my xmas list now contains a running buff and a head light..

What's a running buff ? Is that what I call a snood😂for round your neck? So true what you said I am now venturing further a field & taking on the hills and spent so much time watching where I was going that it kept my mind occupied & I kept running!! 5.5k I reckon! I'm going to change things about like you said & try b210k did you start at week 8 or so like they say I'm you completed the c25k? I need the variety to keep me going I think! Sound advise as always jan-now-runs😊😊x

Hi Pc59 , you can find the podcasts by clicking on my name and looking back through the posts to ' A breakthrough goodbye Laura hello Samantha'🎵. Then look quite a way down that thread to a post from Poppypug which gives the link to the podcasts for Sammy Murphy Bridge210k.. its a bit long winded I know, but us girls and technology eh?😄

Hope you get there.

Yes, I believe a buff is like a snood made of breathable fabric that you can wear in many different ways. It has no seams and is wickable fabric. A few people have mentioned it on here. xx

I cannot take the credit, I got this from AndyD on the Bridge to 10K forum.

But I agree with Jan-now-runs, it is good to mix them with the C5K and 5K+ runs.
