W6 R3 it was awful!

Hi guys, had my worse run so far yesterday evening. I just really struggled after 11 minutes running so walked for a Minute then did a very slow jog again. Feel so annoyed with myself, as I’ve loved it so far and each time I have previously inproved but it went backwards yesterday! It was so humid and blowing a gale maybe that didn’t help. Am now slightly dreading tomorrow’s W7 r1 for 25 minutes eek !

You said it, the weather☔qthis time I think was the reason for your not so good run yesterday. Hopefully your next and second 25 minute run 🏃will be much better and the weather will be better too. 😊

Aww Thanks hope so AlMorr, I don’t even mind the rain lol but it was like running in a tropical rain forest with a hairdryer on full blast, think I was over tired too !! Tomorrow’s another day 🏃‍♀️👍

I have heard many reports today about that very warm strong wind which the south and parts of the east of England have experienced, in Scotland where I am we have had the rain but not those hot tropical winds that you have had, sounds really horrible weather to run in.

Ha ha it was a bit freaky weather, give me a cold wind anytime, I was a sweaty red tomato monster after so not a good look!! 😡

It is getting tougher - just keep believing in the programme. You can do it!

Aww thanks Pattypooos, it’s a fab programme isn’t it, i couldn’t even jog for 30 seconds 7 weeks ago! Amazing really when I think about it 😊

You can still be amazing!! You just had a not great one. So what it doesn’t matter. You haven’t given up so well done. My mother says you have to have the bad days to appreciate the good ones

Just trust in yourself and the process xx

Aww thanks you’re so right and Ha ha I like your Mother’s style Ibot! X

I’m not far behind you. Just try and stay positive. Here if you need me x

Aww thank you, just read your post it’s fab, made me chuckle ! X

Those winds are not fun, they sap energy and mojo... also sometimes we get a sucky run where it never feels right. Chalk it down to a workout towards that 25... the next run will be smoother.

Aww thanks UnfitNoMore hope so

I was the same didn’t stop but did the slowest run ever! I did the first week 7 run on Saturday and need extra time off as hard on my legs. Just take it slowly and take extra care in this weather. Good luck and don’t be hard on yourself the achievement is 👍 great

Aww thanks Simba77, well done you too 😊

Well done for keeping going, there were a few runs I did where they were awful and I wondered why I was doing this but it does work, just keep on going out, not all runs are great but they are better than none!

Aww Thanks Jinty55 glad I’m not alone !

Fret you not! :)

I still have the occasional day where I simply stop mid-run and go home.

Those are the days when, for whatever reason, "I just don' WANNA run' 😂

We are human, not machines Thank God :)

How boring life - and Running- be if everything went perfectly as planned every time :)

Less than ten percent graduate on time/with 5K anyway :)

You've made it this far, you will make it the rest of the way - slow, steady and at your own pace :)

Wishing you many happy miles in your future ☺

Aww love your reply Irish-John made me laugh out loud at work, my work buddies must think I’m mad!

Wow only 10% wow! 🏃‍♀️🏃🏿‍♂️
