I think there was a technology glitch. I wanted to run today as it was just so lovely and had a new route in mind around the river bank through autumn trees etc. It was the first time I was off road and having to deal with wet grass, oh so much sheep poo and lots of gates and styles which I was concerned about getting going after negotiating but I was really enjoying it. As I neared the 30 mins it seemed I was ahead of my usual 37:28 for my 5k so I pushed it and finished on 34:14. I was soooo pleased, ecstatic even until I looked at my splits on run keeper and my route at where it thought I ran across the river! So now feeling a bit miffed as I probably did nt do the full 5 and if I had it would have been about the same time.
Thought I had smashed my PB but no:( - Couch to 5K

On the other hand there is clear evidence here that you can walk on water!

Don't be disappointed - you've discovered a new route, developed your sheep-poo dodging techniques and even got some hurdling in with those styles. Sounds like a kind of mini Ironman run to me so you can be proud of yourself! You'll smash your PB soon enough, just remember the good bits about the run and remind yourself what it was like when you started running...
