Today I ran the Yorkshire Coast 10k - slowly! I finished in 1hr 12 min 40s. Now it's not the greatest ever time, but it's my greatest ever time! And for a couch potato who only started running in April this year, I'm pretty pleased. This forum's been a source of support - especially in the no man's land between graduating C25K and getting stuck into the B210K - but even better were the other runners out there today. So this is a thank you to everyone who's supported me - I tried to pass on some of that support to other people today! And if you're new to running, then just keep going because we're all capable of far more than we think.
10k done!: Today I ran the Yorkshire Coast 10k... - Couch to 5K

Well done! And that is a respectable time in my book!
The running world is largely a very supportive one. Well done to you for both your first 10k event and in supporting others.
Keep running, keep smiling.
Oh well done, I'm hugely impressed that you've got as far as 10k in only 7 months.
