Patience! Don't worry about pace at the moment, stamina is more important - trust in Laura, she's a wise bird! I found after the first 4 weeks the aches and pains eased as my body stopped objecting to the strange demands on it. Sounds like you are feeling the benefits already, and you will be fleet enough to sail speedily past that inconvenient chippy Happy running.
You can always treat yourself though on your Graduation run , now theres an incentive !
You will be surprised at what you can achieve as you progress through the programme and you get stronger . You can do this ,just take it slow and steady, its just a gentle jog .
Agree the latter runs feel better guess we are warmed up or something , I just finished week 2 today and it felt good very comfortable ,because I thought 90 sec was pushing me today I covered more ground and still felt comfortable in fact on my last run I pushed it a little faster. Also on the walks I kept a good pace as I found myself strolling after the runs recovering , not now we'll do this
