Laura did it for me - week 9 run 1 - 30 minutes and 5 km exactly. No issues along the way, just stuck to the plan and did as it said. First time I tried I didn't stick to the plan and failed so for anyone else trying the plan just do it as Laura says and stick with it - it does work

I agree! I've just finished week 9 yesterday and was so pleased. Never thought I could do it, but just followed Laura's instructions and lo and behold I'm now a graduate!!!

The challenge now is to keep going. I think I will use the week 9 podcast a few more times to get into the rhythm of regularly running that distance and will also try some of the other podcasts on the nhs website too.

This forum keeps me positive im on week6r2 today/tomorrow not feeling my usual up beat self and wondering is it because im worrying this is my last run/walk just daunting me to think if the continuous runs! That ir the fact 2gorgeous grandchildren staying overnight jeeps me on mt ies 😀😀think its thought of continuous runs!!!

It is a significant step but once you do it you just know that you can add on those extra minutes, little by little, and then you're graduating!
