Well today was a huge milestone for me! I joined thousands of other runners, walkers, joggers and supporters and ran my first 5k race!! Tbh I did have to walk 3 times during the race who knew our fantastic city centre of Liverpool was so hilly? But even with that I crossed the line beaming from ear to ear with an amazing time of 36.72 mins.. I can't stop smiling. If anybody is apprehensive about proving to themselves that they are a runner then just go for it because the buzz you get when you find you really can do it is just wonderful!! Be brave.. its worth it xx
