First official race COMPLETED!!!

This is the eighth year that I have taken part in the race for life. Usually I'm one of the ladies right at the back walking the 5K route....... But not this year.... After losing 3 stone and completeing the C25K plan I ran the full 5K in 34 mins and 20 secs..... Not a personal record but the feeling of having actually RAN this event rather than just walking it was amazing!!! Thanks Laura!!!

That is fantastic, well done! I'm also normally one of those ladies at the back waiting to walk the 5K but am hopeful this year (my 5th) I'll be jogging the whole distance (without feeling like I'm about to pass out!). It's great to read that it is achievable, thank you.
