I definitely think like this now... I still have a drink if I am running the next morning but I am careful not to overdo it. Last Saturday for example I only had one bottle of beer so that I would still be OK for my 10k race the following morning. Running with a hangover isn't fun!

Me too. I definitely think about keeping the drink to a minimum so I can run in the morning. It's what started me eating properly too - I wanted to fuel my body well to help my running. Where did this new healthy thinking me come from 😀

Last Saturday I went out at 2 and was home by 7, had 7 drinks and had lots of water when I got home, managed a run the next day so think that will be my limit and stick to lower alcohol 'session' ale 😜 the health kick is great

I gave up boozing completely. I am a different person now 😊 Eating and hydrating for runs is always on the agenda these days. It's like being body swapped ☺

Happy running folks ☺

I haven't drank in almost 25 years, but I sure can be an ice cream Fiend :) However, more and more it's a case where running gives me much more than the ice cream ever did so I find I really don't look for too many excuses or reasons to scoff a few quarts "once in a while"

I like that Running is screwing up my ice cream rather than have Ice cream screw up my Running :)
