Meant to be going to running club later but as have no motivation for it am using the crap weather as an excuse...oh and the need to pack before jetting of for a few days sun. Been putting it off all day!

Running gear is laid out to take with me but whether I use it or not will be another matter!!!!! Will let you know on my return.

Don't blame you! I've just got back from a week on holiday and planned to run today but haven't

I am moving house at the weekend so I've got loads of excuses!

I read somewhere that its advisable to have a week off now and again

I can't comment on running in this weather I'm afraid as I've not yet run in the rain but just wanted to say have a great few days away and enjoy the sun!!

You're not alone - I'm doing exactly the same! I'd planned a 4.8 mile run this afternoon but after spending all day moving motorcycles from one storage unit to another, it started raining just as I got home. It took me over half an hour to warm up after getting in and, while I'm usually happy to run in the rain, today I just can't face it. I'm also wondering how to get everything done before we go on holiday on Friday so I've started getting organised now ! I've checked the weather forecast for France next week and it is expected to be raining where we're going - hopefully it will change before then as we're taking a couple of motorbikes with us in the van and were hoping to get out on them a bit. I WILL be taking my running gear - our hotel is close to the sea front so I WILL be running, whatever the weather
