Greetings and salutations

Well I have now completed 3 post C25K jogs. I am enjoying playing my own music and finding a rhythm that works for me. I know I am not covering 5km yet but I am working towards it and still revelling in the amazing feeling of accomplishment. I am loving reading all the posts and having the chance to cheer others on like people have done for me. You are all awesome.

Just thought I would share my last jog with you, I am a sufferer of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and was not feeling great so was considering bowing out of this jog. I decided to do 10 minutes and jog up and down the road in front of our home (in case of an urgent need). I used the stopwatch on my phone, started it and put it in my pocket to avoid the dreaded how much longer feeling. I listened to quite a few motivating songs from Chicane to Dire Straits to Linkin Park and wondered how long I had been jogging to be pleasantly surprised I was already at 16 minutes. I decided to carry on and when I next checked it was 22 minutes and then 34 minutes. I managed 35 minutes and felt I could possibly have done a little more and felt on top of the world. I am actually finding myself looking forward to my jog tonight, happy running peeps :-)
