I had to work hard to keep going. Took a deviation off my old trusty route along a tree lined path dappled in the sunlight which looped around to my finishing line and that little bit of change was great today - it was so beautiful out there and so cool
Next run Thursday - start of my 14 "My Marathon" runs during September and my penultimate run before graduation - exciting times π

It is comforting to run a route you know well but sometimes running a new route just wakens your senses. I think everyone gets those leaden legs sometimes. When I do, I take a bit of time off running but so close to graduation you won't want to do that. An extra rest day will make a difference though.
When I first started you were a week or 2 ahead of me before I ended up on IC. I have been following your journey and it has made me determined to restart mine next week. You've come a long way, well done.
Hi Inspiredmum ! Good Luck next week - so glad you are able to restart - it's tough but so rewarding - looking forward to hearing all about your journey π
Agree that variety is the spice. I am very impressed by the challenge you have set yourself, just don't overdo it. Agree with BTYD that extra rest days are sometimes called for. After my first 5K a couple of weeks ago I found I needed several even tho I hadn't felt particularly cream crackered at the end of it. Here's to your graduation!
Some days they're heavy and some days they're light. It would help if our legs let us know before we went out wouldn't it! You are doing amazingly well and you've got a wonderful path mapped out for after graduation. Pop an extra rest day in if you need it though. I know when you're getting so close to graduation, you don't want anything to slow you down but go easy on yourself
Hi McFitty - good advice - I will be careful as I have to do this and I know what can happen if i push too hard - getting very excited now - feel like a big kid π
I get those leaden legs and it's frustrating, I don't know how to "shake them out" - have lately been focusing on the basics though, slowing down, "one foot in front of the other" etc π Wow - you are so close to graduation βΊ Will be cheering you past the finish line soon βΊ
