I haven't posted since the first week of my journey but this run has got me scared!!!Lol...But, I am ever hopeful - when I started C25K I had to do Week 1 3 times because I was so unfit but since then I have come on and completed every run! Not bad for a 41 year old, initially 7 stone overweight (now only 5 - whoo hoo), 30 a day smoker with asthma...I cannot believe how great this program is! Just looking for encouragement and hoping to inspire others at the beginning of their journey . I'll let you know how it went...argh.......

Thanks for sharing certainly inspiring. As far as encouragement goes I am only on wk1 however with the determination on all your achievements so far, I feel and you should believe you have so got this in the bag

It's incredible isn't it. This programme takes no prisoners, young, old, skinny, fatty, gangly, titchy... It makes runners of us all Congratulations on a great run and enjoy week 6

You will be surprised at just what you can do, I know I was and still am.
I did week 5 run 3 yesterday and I can't believe I managed it ok. I'm 66 year old woman who has never run in my life so I am sure you can do it too. Keep the demons away, they are telling you that you can't do it and you can.
