W5r3 done!

Hurrah! I did it! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ My daughter looked at me like she didn't really believe me when I said it was for 20 minutes when I set off, because she went out with me on my repeat of W1r1 and knows how hard I found it. Of course, having got back, she barely looked up from her iPad πŸ™„ but I don't care πŸ™‚.

Well done. That's a real achievement. See how long it takes your daughter to notice your big grin πŸ˜€

Woop woop well done!! I just did my W5 R3 at half seven this morning too so am right with you. I'm having having a satisfying soak in the bath trying to take it what I've just done. Enjoy the day.

So you and Beelady are running buddies. Having people at the same stage as you on the programme is so cool. You can really bounce off each other (not literally)! Congratulations on nailing this one, it's a massive achievement. Go get week 6 :)

Well done you. Never mind about the progeny, she'll sit up and take notice one day. Just keep on running. That was thecbig hurdle and it is a great achievement to complete that 20 min run.

Im still a bit off but W5R3 scares me. How did you find it?

I tried not to think too hard about it in advance. I did have lots of other deadlines in the couple of days before the run, which helped keep my mind off it. On the day, I really tried to go slowly, so when there was someone walking in front I was almost trying not to catch them up! And then, playing games like would I dance to this music or what I was doing for the rest of the day meant I didn't concentrate on the run itself. As I said in my reply to Beelady , early on I found Laura's time keeping annoying, as it reminded me how far I had to go, but I definitely needed the prompting nearer the end. I didn't ache too much and was ok the next day :-)
