Post grad running and a rolling pin after.

I have been enjoying following post grad running in this forum but after a couple of runs with Laura using stepping stones which went really well I ended up with hip pain on one side. I self diagnosed as a hip flexor problem and aimed to improve my core strength while I waited to run till mended. My first run after was a struggle and I had to do some walking intervals. I have read that helps to burn fat more and as I seem to have had a lot of cake and coffee out that is much needed! Anyway tonight it was cooler and I slowed my pace and ran 30 mins without any walk breaks. Some incline upwards for about a third of the run. I have to say I enjoyed the slight down for the final 10 mins much more. Glad to get back to where I was before my 11 day rest which felt like so much longer. Can't wait to get back to stepping stones again. Don't want any more injuries so have been using my muscle roller on legs. Keeps the family amused watching me treating my legs like pastry.😃
