Week 5 Run 2 (x4)

What a day I'm having. I got up, put on my running gear (I like to drop that in casually...now I'm on Week 5 I have special clothes to exercise in for the first time).

Laura said 'off you go' so I did - it was the hardest run yet, but I did complete it and according to my iPod pedometer I did 4.6km.

I went home showered etc and took my dog out and did the same route again. Archie likes life at a slower pace than Laura so I can't take him running.

When I got home I realised I'd dropped my phone somewhere while we were out, so round I went for the third time to look for it.

I have a standing arrangement with a friend in the afternoons to walk our dogs, so am off out for my fourth time now.

I'm definitely in need of two rest days before my next run this time. Some kind person found my phone and has it at their house, I will be DRIVING round there to collect it! 😲

  • 😱😱😱 it's obviously the week for losing stuff whilst running! I too have to go out again with the dogs when I get back, mine are too old for distance though so it's shorter than my run. Must help strengthen our bodies though 😀

  • Ha ha! One day soon you will be happy to walk it! Some day soon you will be running errands too!

  • Seems long warm downs are the in vogue this week! So glad you have located your 'phone, what a relief.

Well done - acing that run, upward and onward - one run closer.

  • Yeah! High five for the running gear, the acing of week 5 run 2 and the finding of your phone! Got to love our dogs haven't we ;) definitely have a couple of days before the next one :)

  • Thanks everyone. Enjoy your runs this week. 😊
