Have sprained my knee ligament so unable to continue week 3 - have to rest up but am debating whether I need to start from week 1 again πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

Rest up and see how you feel. I had to take a nine week break due to a calf injury sustained in week 5 and I started all over again, frustrating but better safe than sorry. Hope it heals soon.

I think it will probably depend on how long you're out of action. Rest for as long as necessary and follow docs advice. If you're worried about restarting where you are, you could do one run each of week one and week 2 and then go back in where you are now and see how it feels. The most important thing is to follow any medical advice. Don't worry about having time out. Hope its better very soon.

Keep your chin up - follow the medics advice - strength exercises if allowed and slowly does it. The forum will be here to cheer you on, no one gets left behind....πŸ’

I got taken out of action for around 3 weeks during week 5. I started back up by doing wk2 d3, wk3 d3 and wk4 d3 over my next 3 runs (if that makes sense) as I was finding them a little too easy. Main thing is to work back up as slowly as you need to. There's no value in pushing too hard and injuring yourself again ;)
