I seriously needed one...

It's been a week since I've ran..eight days infact.:(

Had ran my race for life last Sunday and somehow got it onto my head it was ok to take a week off.. yes I needed a few rest days as in preparation I had ran a few more ks the week before.. and felt my knee would appreciate it...

But as the week without my scheduled runs..my mind gremlins began niggling.. felt incapable come yesterday.. excuses( back aches, is my knee ok?,do I still want to do this?)

So thismorning a stern word and a huge butt kicking off I set.. encouraged by the start of realfoodiclub s new quest begining today..

Feels amazing to be back home.. running buzz back.. new 3k pb.. and feel great!!!

So lesson learned again.. I am capable..those gremlins just needed outing!!

Feels great to be back!!

Now to think of my next goals to aim for :)

Happy running all x

Weeeeell, it won't actually hurt to take a bit of time off post race so I don't know if I can put your butt in Room 101.

Oh go on then. Boot! Clear off and run! No more excuses. Just haul ass!

Do have fun won't you 😊

Well done - you didn't even need to call on our services.

Remember, we do offer butt kicking as well as Pom Pom waving and all sorts of spurious advice!

You got yourself back out there , in this heat n' all !

Well done for getting back into it Sparky! Can be hard after a few days off but you've done it now and told those gremlins where to go!

Just shows your fitness doesn't leave that quick but gremlins sneak in when any doubts arise. Well done for getting back out there!
