Well on my way to truly completing the C25K. Now done four 30 mins and one 25 min (was flying by myself on this one with no Laura which failed. Need Laura guiding voice still ).
This mornings run was definately needed as I had to get my mine off the news given to me yesterday. I will be losing my job, along with 320 other, within the next 8 months as they are shutting our plant down in Havant. Not exactly sure when my finishing date will be as it depends on the projects I work on.
So glad that I actually managed to run for more than 30 minutes it was more like 33. Used runkeeper app for the first time and each 1k I was doing in an average of 8mins. Once I do the run on Saturday I can say with hand on heart that I have truly completed and graduated C25K.
Onwards and upwards I hope in both running and the job search.

It's going to be the waiting that is going to do my head in. 45 days before we know anything about leaving dates and final severance pays. It's a good package but can not leave early or we only get statutory.
I suppose the positive side means I might get a bit more sleep before each run once I know. Positive thoughts are best.
Been where you are in the past and it's horrid but you will get there. I always think that's it's awful the way employers hold you like that with the difference in severance pay. Just remember that a good new employer will respect that and wait for you.
Enjoy the running - I'm sure it will help settle your mind. Definitely keep those positive thoughts to the front of your mind.
So sorry to hear your bad news - hopefully the running will continue to give you some escape and the chance to clear your head. Sounds as if it's going great.
Yes I could but had a mare 3rd run flying solo with no Laura so on Saturday I will have done 3 30+ minute runs and I can be proud to claim my graduation.
It is just a personal thing for me to do the 3 30minutes runs one after the other.
Hi Andy that's terrible for you and your workmates - the uncertainty is really difficult to deal with , I hope you get some good news soon and can make plans to move ahead. In terms of C25k it sounds like you've aced it - well done!! The fact that you want to do even more than you need to to claim your graduation badge shows what a great work ethic you have and for sure prospective employers will recognise that! Best of luck to you👍🏽
Sorry to hear about the job Andy - hope something comes along that turns it into a positive opportunity.
I think you can consider yourself a graduate. You have to wean yourself off Laura at some stage, but no harm in keeping repeating week 9 until it feels secure.
