Week 9 Run Three, Nailed it. :-)

Hello everyone, Yipheeee. I've actual done it, completed week 9 run 3.

Did my five minute warm up walk down to the harbour in Alvor, Portugal at 6:30 am 20 mins before sunrise. Set off at a steady pace, used map my run as I forgot my Garmin watch. Not sure how accurate it is, ran down a hard sand road as far as the lighthouse dead end, so ran around it and returned following same route back to where I started.

I don't want to kid anyone, it was fairly flat and by midway I was puffing and panting, but I kept going to the end.

Because map my run cancelled Laura out I wasn't sure if I was doing a good pace or not. I was pleased when I had finished it said I had run for 34.17 minutes and I had covered a distance of 5.89 km. I am over the moon.

Can I thank you all for your support and help you have given me from HealthUnlocked C25K site and programme.

If I can do it any one can.

John. (Drakeybar)

Well done, sounds like a great run. I have used MapMyRun in the past and it always proved to be quite accurate.

Hello Amberc

Thanks for that, I had read an article where they were pulling the iPhone apps to bits for not being accurate. I've got to admit it only needs to be a guide for me.
