Don't worry about it. You breathe without thinking about it don't you when you're not running 😊 Just chill. Go slowly, that usually helps.

It will all fall into place as you get fitter. Honestly it will. Have faith and press on. You're nearly there. You have done the worst of it 😊

Welcome to the forum, by the way. Folks are lovely here and very supportive of other runners ☺

Hi Tonya,

Sounds to me like you are doing both running and breathing hard, as misswobble says go slowly and breathe the same. When you start your run go slowly and try to relax with the run for your first five minutes by the end of the five minutes you should be in a comfortable pace and rhythm with your breathing that should get you to the end of the duration without being tired. You're at week eight well done.

When I first started I was breathing too hard and it was very hard going, I thought I'll never be able to pass week 1. I slowed my pace down and breathe with my run.

I've just finished w7 and can now just break into a run and continue to the duration without problems.

Wishing you the best for your next run , not long now for graduation.

:)

Well done for getting this far! Yep, I agree with the comments above! Slow down a bit - there's no such thing as too slow! Keep at it, graduation is just round the corner!

Hi Tonya, I know its easier said than done , but try not to worry too much about it, just try and breathe naturally . If youre struggling with your breathing youre probably going too fast .

Slow and steady, calm breaths, in 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 , out 1-2 -3 -4 ( that's what I do anyway ) you can do this , you are soo close !

Well done ! :-) xxx
