I'm really getting disheartened now and close to giving up! I've had tummy issues for years but they improved considerably when I gave up wheat. Now though I'm really struggling! I'm stumped about what to do. I don't want to give up as I've got to week 5 and feel so much healthier
Any ideas other than Imodium (can't take it...makes me worse!) or a huge nappy??

Sounds a real nuisance. Does it start early in your run? I wondered if you could do warm up walking away from home and then run back towards home so you can use your own facilities then set off out again in similar fashion? Or would treadmill at gym work so you are near toilet at all times? You have got so far so I guess it's the length of the time running now that is causing trouble. I think you could carry on with programme just taking minimal breaks for loo every so many minutes?
Thanks for replying! It was happening towards the end, but today I was just about to start the second 5 minute run of three I guess running repeatedly round the block would be an option, just not very interesting!! I wonder if it will improve as I get better? Though I am doing Race for Life on Sunday, which I am now dreading
Can you manage your meals to help in race for life? Not sure if it will get better but I am sure you will find better ways to deal with it. Maybe talk to your doctor?
I'll certainly be very careful about what I eat...I can usually get away with a little wheat these days but I'm going to eliminate it from now on. A trip to the doctors again might be in order...she wants me to get fitter and lose weight but I can't go on like this!!
