First 5k race!

I feel just awesome!! Run a 5k with my 11 yr old son today! It was a fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer research. Three months ago I was tested for a genetic mutated gene for breast/ovarian cancer that's rampade on my father's side. I made a promise that if it came back negative I would find a way "to give back"... It came back negative and well this was my opportunity it started pouring rain as we began but it was refreshing and amazing to have my son by my side!! We finished in 33mins afterwards we were so giddy with happiness and accomplishment thanks c25k for giving me this ability to do this!!
