Have just completed run 1 of week 4 and decided to stick with Laura rather than the new app and she's brought me on another stage. I am so pleased with myself this morning I actually managed to up the pace a little on the final minute of running. It feels sooo good. Mind I totally misjudged the distance and ended up with a 12 minute cool down walk! Morning has been topped off by picking my first raspberries and blueberries from the garden for breakfast. Not many as I have very greedy blackbirds but at least I won the race to find them today π¬
Now I know I can do it I may try the new app next time so I can choose my music.

Fab run! I picked my first raspberries and strawberries at the week-end and that was almost as good!! ps: the thing about Laura is that she KEEPS bringing you on. pps: my warm down is often 12 mins, because I like running around the wood at the top of the hill and I usually finish on the far side!
A friend has given me an old net curtain to put over my strawberries. One of my resident blackbirds checks them for ripeness about 4 times a day - no wonder he always gets there first!
I really wish I could find some woods to run in - I really enjoyed it at Thetford Forest last week but they are all at least 20 minutes drive away and I just don't have time for that. Plus I like to use the car as little as possible.
I might try the other app with my own music selection on the next run now I know I can do it. Just weighed myself too and I've lost 12 lbs since starting the program - no wonder it's getting easier
we have just had strawberries from the garden. I picked a few to take away and amazingly our resident thrush left the others to ripen while we were gone. Not so the redcurrants, although I did pick enough to make five crumbles for the freezer before we went.
