So I did w8r3, it was hotter than I thought it was going to be by the time I dropped the kids at school, but I can't go tonight and am doing a long-day at work tomorrow, so it was run in the morning or not at all...
I don't enjoy morning runs much though! It was hard, I started with a friend who paces much faster with me, I know she does and I deliberately hang back and let her get on with it, and we meet at the end and cool down together. This time, about halfway round, I started getting a sharp pain from left to right across the middle of my foot. I slowed down more and persevered but, by the time I got to a bridge I needed to cross the pain was shooting up the inside of my calf to my inner thigh and was making me limp. I stopped my timer and walked to the top of the hill and down the other side and it felt OK again so I carried on. I finished the full 28 minutes but that discomfort (it's not sharp pain anymore) on the underside of my left foot is still there... Any thoughts?
Have been doing lots of stretches since I got in and doing my RICE now π

Did the same run as you, just finished, and yes seriously hot thought breeze would be nice but didn't really notice it when running. Do hope you feel better would like to think we would finish this together. π
I thought it was quite chilly when I went first went out to feed the rabbit this morning. But something must have changed In the next hour, I definitely didn't noticed any breeze!! Really hoping its just a passing twinge, my shift tomorrow will be the deciding factor I think, it will either stretch it out or aggravate it...that's what I find when my back is niggling. Would be great to finish at the same time, good luck for w9r1!!!
If it persists, it might be sensible to see your GP - but just check that your laces aren't too tight, especially in this hot weather. I know it sounds basic, but it can cause problems.
Yes I agree with Ully , it could be that your laces are too tight . Its really difficult to gauge whats a niggle and whats an injury, I struggle even now tbh .
I would maybe take a couple of rest days and then see how it feels .
