... you have to run further to burn off the 120g of Cadbury Caramel you just shoved down your face.

Sorry PippiRuns but it was worth it :-)

Where is the (shame) emoticon?

Chocolate comes from a bean, that comes from a plant, hence, vegetable. Caramel is full of sugar which, in high enough concentrations, acts as a preservative, hence, keeps you young. Fact.👍

Of course it was dark chocolate?

It didn't stay out of its wrapper long enough for me to see :-).

No shame, it's a joke at work that I basically spend all day eating snacky snacks particularly chocolate! I run everyday so why not!!!

Yatesco (stern look emoticon)! I am so, so disciplined here, and then you just let me down like that. Repeatedly! What are we going to do about you?

Squatting is what we are going to do - or rather - YOU are going to do. 20 now, 20 before bed and 20 again when you wake up.

I'm actually just walking out the door for my 5K, but I really should be doing squats as well.

Can't even remember what they taste like! 18 months since I last ate anything like that! Hope you enjoyed it!

1x120g Cadbury Caramel = approx 100 cals = approx 20 minutes of running + 1.50 UKP?

yatesco profile image
yatescoGraduate in reply to Bazza1234

I would love to eat that version but unfortunately the calories is more ~550kcals (tesco.com/groceries/product....

Bazza1234 profile image
Bazza1234Graduate in reply to yatesco

WOOPS! you are right! I was looking at the 20gms numbers -- WOW - 550cals - that is roughly 2 miles of running and/or walking. Is it any wonder that people can get so BIG???

heavyhorseGraduate in reply to Bazza1234

I could have easily eaten a 4 pack of these in a sitting....that is partly how I ended up 7 stone heavier than I am now!

Ain't it the truth!!! I am not much into chocolate - but red wine!!!!!!! and ice cream!!!!!!

Ibencopenhagen prescribes about 60 squats. I reckon that's fair and definitely worth it.☺🍫

I wish I didn't like it.... I feel like that about coffee with all the nice flavours and frothy ones etc. They look good, but, urgh!

Oldfloss profile image
OldflossAdministratorGraduate in reply to Son1

Don't like coffee either.. except black! My weakness... bubbly stuff!...!

Son1 profile image
Son1Graduate in reply to Oldfloss

ooo, I don't mind a bit of that either, but my weakness is chocolate and cake - even better when you combine the two! :-)

Peanut butter is my post run snack :-)

I could combine the two and eat a snickers bar? No, probably not.

I make a peanut butter choccy mug cake, or for a change you can use tahini or a tablespoon of jam. 60 secs in the micro 😊

I don't routinely snaffle chocs or such like these days but I do keep a bar of very dark choc in the house and treat myself to a square if I feel i've earned it. I think eating chocs and sweets is something we can easily wean ourselves off. They aren't good for our teeth for one thing. I make my own running bars and always have one to hand. A bit or pre-planning saves eating kerrap 😊
